Spare Potatoes in the cupboard? Use them to make quick and easy potato stamps for painting.
You will need
Potatoes
shaped biscuit cutters for shaping or a sharp knife to cut your own shapes
sharp knife for slicing the potatoes
paint and paper
Instructions
Cut a potato in half and pat the ends dry
Press your chosen cutter into the end of one of the potato halves , it doesn’t need to go all the way in, just far enough so you can then cut the shape out with a knife. Your potato stamp is ready to use!
You don’t need to use biscuit cutters if you don’t have them, you can create your own shapes by using a knife. For storage, just wrap well and pop them in the fridge, they will be fine for 2-3 days.
