Summer Term 2011 Newsletter
I hope that you are all as pleased as we are with our latest Ofsted inspection, we were particularly pleased with the praise the inspector gave us regarding our excellent team and I quote ‘we should be very proud of the staff and the way we all work together so effectively’.
Term Times
Summer Term ends on Tuesday 26th July 2011
Half term week 03/05/11 – 05/06/11
Preschool closed on Wednesday 8th June 2011.
Events

Mini sponsored obstacle course at the recreation grounds on Thursday 16th June at 1.30pm. Children who do not attend on Thursdays are very welcomed to take part (adult must be present).

To CELEBRATE Father’s Day the children have invited dad’s, grandad’s , etc into preschool during the week beg. 13/06/2011

Tuesday 21st June – walk to Kings Copse School to visit their outside area

Open week 26/06/11 for all parents/carers to come into preschool to share your child’s learning journey with them.

Saturday 2nd July - Carnival Float – more details to follow.
Leavers Party
We will be very sorry to see all the children leave this July, but would like to wish you all the very best at school.

Our party for the children leaving, will be held at Play Shack in Hedge End on Wednesday 27th July, please arrive at 9.30 and pick up between 11.30 and 12pm.
Do you fancy helping at pre-school?
Do you know that parents are welcome to help at pre-school – we need your help especially during our afternoon sessions, if you can spare the time please see the rota displayed on the notice board.

Running for Wildern Opportunity Group
For this Academic year Southampton Ford Motor Company Body Construction department has adopted Wildern Opportunity Group as their departmental charity.
As part of their fundraising efforts Short Wheel Base employee Steve Smeeth will be running the Gosport Half Marathon on 20th November 2011 to support our Group.
