September

5th  -  All about me.  – can children bring photos of themselves as babies

12th - Celebrations – can children bring in photos, mementos etc., of special celebrations that have

taken place i.e. – birthdays, weddings, etc.

19th -  Harvest - children to bring in items of food to display and then pass on to a local charity.

26th - Tuesday am - Walk to St Johns Church to deliver Harvest donations – volunteers needed

October

3rd  - Nature/Autumn - please help children find items relating to nature to bring into Preschool

10th - Nature/Autumn – as above

17th - Nature/Autumn - visit to Itchen Country Park -volunteers needed

31st - Halloween.

November

The celebration theme continues

7th - Fireworks

14th - Christmas preparations start with card making and tin collection for Christmas cakes.

22nd - Tuesday am -  Visit to library, volunteers needed.

December

16th - Friday am - Christmas Party and no afternoon session.

Spring Term  2012

January

February

6th - Monday am session, Walk to Greta park,  volunteers needed.

March

5th - Open week for all parents/families welcome to come in and spend time at the preschool looking at folders informally.

12th -  This week starts our  Mother’s day celebrations.

24th - Tuesday am session - Visit to library

May

3rd - Open Day

8th -  Sponsored obstacle course at 1pm.

June

1st - Live music fundraising event Blondie Tribute at Fords Social Club

11th - Fathers, Grandfathers and Uncles week.

13th - Pre-school closed.

18th - Pets week

25th - Week commencing, walk to Greta park – day to be decided.

Carnival preparations (carnival date is 1st Saturday in July )

July

 7th- Carnival procession Gold & Diamonds

 9th - People & Our Community – visit to library, visits from police and fire etc.

Running for Wildern Opportunity Group

For this Academic year Southampton Ford Motor Company Body Construction department has adopted Wildern Opportunity Group as their departmental charity.

As part of their fundraising efforts Short Wheel Base employee Steve Smeeth will be running the Gosport Half Marathon on 20th November 2011 to support our Group.
