Our pre-school sessions are currently £3.00 per hour, we require a £20 deposit to secure a place and require that every child starts with at least two sessions per week.
Once your child has reached the term after their Third Birthday we are able to claim up to fifteen free hours under the nursery education funding (NEF) scheme. More details are available about this when you make a visit to the Pre-school.
We charge 25p per session for snack time and your child has a choice of different fresh fruits, water or milk. However if your child is attending during a session funded by the nursery education funding scheme there is no extra charge for snack time. If your child is not entitled to a free snack and you don't wish to pay, we welcome you to bring your own snack in from home, please speak with your key worker about what is acceptable to bring in as a snack.
For the Opportunity Group sessions we are often able to source funding through either Hampshire County Council or through local business sponsors who wish to assist us. If we are unable to source funding we do ask for a small donation towards our running costs and this will be discussed with you at your home visit.
Our outreach sessions that run by referral only at the Windmill Children's Centre in Bursledon are currently funded until January 2010 by Sure Start, we are currently working with our partners to ensure these sessions can remain free after that date for the children that attend.
We also have an optional uniform available which costs:
£4.00 for a Tee Shirt
£7.50 for a sweatshirt.
Uniform can be bought through the pre-school, we endeavour to keep popular sizes in stock, but should we not have the size you require we can order it fairly quickly.
