Hedge End Carnival 2009

This year the carnival theme was "patriotism" thanks to the organisational skills of Lucy and Mark along with a small band of helpers we had a fantastic float, and the children who all took part had a wonderful time collecting money for the carnival to distribute to worthy causes in the village.

Christmas Party 2008

At the end of the year we always have a Christmas party, this is attended by Children from all our sessions, we have an entertainer who this year was Krazy Kev. He performed magic tricks for the children. Afterwards they all sat down for some lunch and at the end of it all a special guest came in and if the children had been good throughout the year they went home with a little something.

20th Anniversary celebrations

On the 11 September we celebrated that the group had been open for 20 years, this is some achievement and it was very interesting to see how the group has changed throughout the years.

We were joined by a large number of old staff, volunteers and children (many who are now not too small!!!)we also were supported by Steve Power from Wave 105 and the current Mayor of Eastleigh Councilor Derek Pretty.

We were generously supported by Barclays at Hedge End who put on a wonderful buffet that was enjoyed by all.

Netley Fun Run 2008

We would like to thank PCSO Donna Kay, PC Matt Spencer, PC Dave Hollands, PC Stuart Tribbeck, PCSO Scot Weston who all ran the Netley 10K Fun Run on our behalf earlier this year, below is a a picture of them presenting the cheque for £675.

This money has been spent on improving the quality equipment that we have in the group, including the purchase of the "play cube" from our wish-list worth nearly £400, without the generous help of our supporters we would not be able to supply our children with the quality, up to date equipment that we often take for granted. Thank You!!!
