Quiz Night 2007
The Two Brothers public house were kind enough to nominate us as the charity to benefit from their annual charity quiz night. They managed to raise £115 for us for which we are very grateful, this money will either be spent by the committee at the next meeting or put to one side for something at at later date.
The two Brothers hold a quiz night every Monday which is free to enter, if any of you would like to get a team together I am sure they would love to welcome you.

Christmas Party 2007
At the end of the year we always have a Christmas party, this is attended by Children from all our sessions, we have an entertainer who this year was Barney Bay. He performed magic tricks for the children. Afterwards they all sat down for some lunch and at the end of it all a special guest came in and if the children had been good throughout the year they went home with a little something.

Children in Need 2007
As Children in Need support our Opportunity Group sessions we always like to support them. This year the theme was "films" all the adults and children dressed up and gave a small donation towards Children in Need

Nostalgia Night
On the 17 November 2007 we held a fundraising night to raise some money to enable us to purchase some new equipment for the group. We managed to raise £1071 including the proceeds from the Grand Draw. If you would like to know who won which prizes please click here to go to the Grand Draw Page.
On the night Gina Cooper donated and organised a "name the teddy" the teddy was won by SYLVIE and she called him SYLVESTER!!!

Alice in Wonderland 2007
Every year we arrange a pre-school outing for all the children parents/carers.
This year we went to Alice in Wonderland it’s a small theme park by Bournemouth airport, below are some photos of the Children, Staff and Parents/Carers enjoying the rides. (double click on the image to enlarge it)
Hedge End Carnival
On Saturday 7th July 2007, 11 of our children accompanied by Kathy, Shirley and Theresa walked the Hedge End Carnival, the children had a good time collecting money for the carnivals worthy causes.
The Children dressed up in James Bond gear to fit in with this years carnival topic, chosen as the date is 07/07/07.

Under 5's Fun Day
On Thursday 28th June 2007 we held a stand at the Southern Parishes Under 5's Fun Day. Although it was a little windy and we had to move the stall to a more sheltered location half way through the day, 150 children attended from around the area and had a great time.
We made and played with play dough on our stand but there were lots of other things to do like making puppets, hats, blow painting, honeypots play bus, leaf painting, play and go library and lots more fun.
